We think you might like these too!
Whether we're photo-editing, driving, or relaxing, if there is one thing both Rob and I enjoy, it's a good podcast! Something interesting, entertaining, informative, or just cool, there are so many out there to choose from! Here are 5 of our favorite podcasts:
If you love stories as much as we do, and you haven't already listened to This American Life, then you're missing out! This podcast offers some of the best glimpses into the life of your fellow men and women that you could ask for. Also, I love Ira Glass' voice!
Revisionist History is a 10-part podcast by Malcolm Gladwell that goes back and reinterprets something from the past: an event, a person, an idea. Often something overlooked or misunderstood. It is hella interesting, and fairly quick, so there isn't a huge time investment.
Jenna Kutcher, the embodiment of female entrepreneurial empowerment, launched the Goal Digger podcast this year, and it has been a game changer. Hearing interviews with creative Girl Bosses, getting wonderful business tips, and just generally being a part of a creative lady-led movement has been a breath of fresh air!
I was looking for a podcast to fill the gaping hole that Serial left (if you haven't listened to that yet, stop what you're doing and go check out the first season right now by clicking here!) and found this gem. Not only is every episode short and sweet (making it an easy one to listen to on a commute) but each episode also features an original drawing and ridiculously interesting show notes. Check it out!
In this podcast, host David McRaney delves into the topics of self-delusion & logical fallacies, and does an excellent job of explaining why you think you're very smart (and most of of us do) and why, sadly, we're not. It's a great science-based podcast that is as entertaining as it is humbling, with amazing interviews, show notes, and food for thought. Oh, and there are cookies.
So there you have it! Our 5 favorite podcasts for work and play. We hope you enjoy!
