Maternity

Amy + Anne: A "Two Moms, Two Bumps" Maternity Session!

Bean & Squishie arriving in july!

When Anne + Amy contacted me about a maternity session and shared that they were both due in July, I could not have been more excited! They had a beautiful Sun Prairie wedding in 2024, so what better way to celebrate almost two years later than with their maternity session in the same location!

With ultrasounds of both Bean and Squishie, as well as some ADORABLE tiny shoes (honestly, who doesn’t freaking lose it over tiny shoes), we walked around Sun Prairie in the same places where they celebrated their wedding and got to celebrate the upcoming additions to their family!

Help me wish these two a BIG congrats (x2) and enjoy the photos!

Ann + Sam: A Romantic Maternity Session at the UW Arboretum

And baby makes three…

Ann + Sam (who you may remember from such weddings as this one) are having a baby! (Ann is doing all the hard work, obvs). These two decided to have their maternity session at the same place they had their first look on their wedding day, and it could not have been more beautiful! Enjoy the sweet photos of this even sweeter couple, as they look forward to welcoming their little Squidling in July!

Cara + Richard's Maternity Portraits at Pope Farm Conservancy

For Cara + Richard’s maternity portraits, we decided to head back to where they had their couples portraits for their wedding

Pope Farm Conservancy is absolutely gorgeous all year round, even with the leaves off the trees, and was a beautiful spot to celebrate the upcoming addition to their family! I can’t wait to meet their little one in a few weeks! Help me wish these two a big congratulations and enjoy the photos!

Francesca + Marshall: A Sweet Nature-Filled Maternity Session

This Governor’s Island Maternity session was a golden hour dream

It was absolutely gorgeous day for Francesca + Marshall’s maternity session (minus the mosquitoes, those jerks) and this session was so sweet and fun! Enjoy the photos of this adorable couple, and I can’t wait to meet their little one soon!

Maternity & Family Portraits at the UW Arboretum

This sweet and growing family braved all of the mosquitoes in the world for their maternity & family portraits!

Seriously, so many mosquitoes, but also, how cute are these photos?! I’ve been honored to photograph this little family at nearly every important milestone, from Lily + Aaron’s engagement portraits and wedding, to their maternity & newborn photos for their two oldest, Rylan and Remy, and now the maternity photos for their little-one-on-the-way!

I can’t wait to meet the newest addition in a few months! Help me wish this wonderful family a big congrats!

Olivia's Maternity Photos at Governor's Island

Olivia + Jim are expecting their little one later this month

And Olivia wanted to capture the maternity photos before their son arrives! You might remember Olivia from such weddings as the one pictured here (one of my favorite weddings of all time!) but who you probably haven’t met before is Bumpy, Olvia + Jim’s Cairn terrier fur child, who joined us for some Bumpy + The Bump maternity photos midway through our session. We got to explore all over Governor’s Island for these photos, and what an absolutely gorgeous location for maternity portraits! Enjoy these sweet, once-in-a-lifetime images of Olivia and The Bump, and congrats to Olivia + Jim on expanding their little family!

Erin's Maternity Portraits

Erin + Matt (and their cat Sam) are expecting!

You might remember Erin + Matt from such weddings as this one. But it turns out, life didn’t stop after they got married (why does everyone think it does?) No, it just got cooler, and they’re now expecting a little kiddo in February!

Help me wish these two a big expectant congrats, and stay tuned for pictures of their kiddo once he or she decides to make an appearance early next year!

Lily + Aaron: A Maternity Session in the Arboretum

LilyHallMaternity-1013.jpg

There’s something really humbling about being able to help couples celebrate multiple important events in their lives together.

I’ve been lucky enough to photograph Lily + Aaron’s engagement portraits and their wedding day, and more recently we were able to take some photos to celebrate the upcoming birth of their 1st child! I’m so excited for them (and also can’t wait to meet the new addition).

Despite the snow that we had for their maternity session, I think their wedding day was actually a couple degrees colder, but both days were beautiful and you all know how much I love the Arboretum as a backdrop for photos!

Enjoy the pics of these two parents-to-be, and keep an eye out for photos of their little family addition in the Spring!
