Ramona’s 1 year portraits were a sweet mix of family photos, colorful rainbow fun, and a cake smash (the cake was delicious in case you were wondering)! This little kiddo enjoyed every minute of it (except outfit changes, because, you know, babies hate those) and we had a blast! Happy birthday, Ramona!

I love this little park in walking distance from Winnie + Fiona’s house, and the kids clearly loved it too! We had fun goofing around and playing games to keep the kids entertained and enjoyed the crisp fall weather and lovely clouds this past Sunday while we were taking photos.

Pope Farm Conservancy is such a beautiful setting for photos and Leo seemed to love it also, since it has lots of places to run, hide, and jump off! Leo’s grandparents were visiting from India, so we were fortuitously able to have them join for photos, and I LOVE photos of kiddos with their grandparents, so there were some super sweet moments to capture.

I hadn’t been out to the Epic campus in Verona, WI in a few years, and it was just as fun (and as much of a maze) as I remembered! I was honored to be able to photograph Ramona’s newborn portraits on what would have been her due date. This little peanut was so sweet (which makes total sense given how great her parents are) and it was a joy to get to photograph this little family and celebrate with them!

But unfortunately I was out of commission due to a surprise gallbladder removal (not the kind of surprise I’d typically want, but I’m all better now). We decided to do elopement portraits to celebrate their wedding once I was all healed up, and we visited both Lake Farm Park and the Lussier Family Heritage Center for their portraits. It was SOOOOO chilly but Elly + Kevin were troopers and we got some super fun and awesome photos and we got back into cars before anyone’s nose fell off, which I’m counting as a win.
