Madison’s eclectic east side was perfect for Max’s senior portraits!
Enjoy these fun photos, and help me wish Max good luck on the rest of Senior year and the next steps into adulthood!

Isaac is a talented artist, looking forward to heading into art school after he finishes up high school, so Willy Street, with it’s brightly colored murals and unique buildings, plus easy access to the beautiful Lake Monona, was the perfect setting for his senior portraits! Good luck to Isaac with the rest of senior year and more importantly, the next step of his journey!

And we got to enjoy some of the awesome buildings and murals that Willy street has to offer as we stopped different places to take family portraits! These two are the sweetest, goofiest kiddos on the planet (except for possibly my own) and Kim + Peter definitely have their hands full, but I LOVE how fun and colorful these photos are, and how much they show off the kids’ personalities! Enjoy these fun and colorful family portraits!

They were a joy to work with, and I am so excited for them to embark in this next big phase of life! Good luck senior year, K!

We got to check out murals, bees, flowers, and cool rocks - I’d say that’s a successful adventure! Enjoy the photos of this sweet family!

I was worried the weather wasn’t going to pan out with how all over the place it’s been lately, but we lucked out, and the day was absolutely perfect! Enjoy these sweet photos of this awesome couple, and help me wish them a big congrats for their upcoming wedding in 2024!

Now the bummer is that meant I didn’t get to see their dog and two kitties, but the upside is how awesome Winnie + Fiona’s colorful outfits worked with the amazing murals all around Willy street, and how we got to get a nice little walk in during our session when we headed on over to BB Clarke Beach Park! Enjoy these adorable summery family portraits, and here’s to another year for this wonderful family! Cheers!

I don’t do senior portraits often, but this session was so fun it’s making me hope that I end up doing more of them! Grace and her mom Erin and I walked along Willy Street, taking advantage of some of the gorgeous murals along the way, ending up on Lake Monona just before sunset! Lots of laughs, lots of trying not to fall in the lake, and lots of fun spinning at the end (why don’t I make people spin more? It’s great!)
Enjoy the photos and congrats to Grace on her upcoming senior year!

Matt + Drew and their furry son Olly joined me for an engagement session on a not too hot summer day, and we had a blast, as well as a great walk up and down Willy Street! Enjoy the photos from this sweet summer session. I can’t wait for the wedding in 2022!

Congrats to Ethan on his last year of high school, and good luck with what’s to come next!

Lindsey, Ben, Aisa, and I got to enjoy what might have been the last nice weekend of 2020 by popping over to Willy Street and walking around the murals and parks there for their family portrait mini session.
Check out the photos from this fun session!

Colorado holds a special place in the story of Sam + Joe’s relationship, as it was the first place they said “I love you”. While I can’t wait to be able to help them celebrate their union there in 2021, I am also thrilled to have been able to help them capture their 2020 wedding here in Madison.
The UW Arboretum, Willy Street, Lake Monona, and Olbrich Gardens are some of Sam + Joe’s favorite nature-y spots in Madison (yes, I know nature-y isn’t a word) and we stopped at all of them on Sam + Joe’s wedding day for photos and fun.
I love all the little details that these two worked into their wedding day, including a reference to the mountain goat who was making obnoxiously loud noises during that first “I love you” in Colorado, a tie pin with Sam’s handwriting on it, bracelets with their important relationship dates, the DIY jewelry that Sam made for herself and the bridesmaids, and a whole host of other special little ways to celebrate. Sam + Joe even got me a pin shaped like a roll of film as a thank you (which led to me needing to explain to my 12 year old what film is, and now feeling old, but at least old with a cool pin).
Help me wish Sam + Joe a hearty congratulations friends, and stay tuned for part two next year!
